This Agreement constitutes a legal agreement between you and the Shutter Location development team (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Team") regarding the use of the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to any terms of this Agreement, please do not use the App.
Shutter Location is a geolocation-based photography sharing app designed to help users capture and share photos tagged with location information while engaging with a community. The App offers the following key features:

2.1 To use the App, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, you must obtain consent from your parents or legal guardian to use the App.
2.2 You must provide true, accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse service to any user based on applicable laws or this Agreement.
3.1 You need to register an account to access the full features of the App. You are responsible for safeguarding your account information (including username and password), and any losses due to improper safeguarding are your responsibility.
3.2 You may not transfer, sell, or lend your account to others. If you discover unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.
3.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect abnormal activities (e.g., violations of this Agreement).
4.1 You agree to comply with the following rules when using the App:
4.2 The copyright of the photos and content you upload belongs to you, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty-free license to store, display, and promote your content within the App.
4.3 If your actions violate this Agreement or applicable laws, we reserve the right to remove the offending content, suspend or terminate your account, and pursue legal action if necessary.
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
6.1 The App utilizes third-party services such as Firebase (including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Storage, and Hosting) to provide functionality. The terms and privacy policies of these services also apply to you.
6.2 The App may contain third-party links or content, for which we are not responsible for their accuracy or legality.
7.1 The App is provided "as is" without warranties of being error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure (e.g., network failures, natural disasters).
7.2 You use the App at your own risk. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss or loss of profits.
7.3 Content you upload may be viewed or shared by other users, and we are not responsible for the consequences of such use.
8.1 The App, including its code, design, and trademarks, is protected by copyright law. Without our written permission, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App.
8.2 Content you upload must be original or authorized by you and must not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
9.1 We may update this Agreement from time to time, and the updated version will be published within the App or on our official website (https://shutterlocation.com).
9.2 The updated Agreement takes effect upon its publication. Continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree, please discontinue use.
10.1 You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
10.2 We reserve the right to terminate your access to the App and remove related content if we find you in violation of this Agreement or applicable laws.
11.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country or region where you reside, as determined by the residence information you provide during registration. If such information is missing or unclear, the laws of the country or region where you are located when using the App shall apply.
11.2 In the event of a dispute, both parties shall attempt to resolve it amicably through negotiation. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for final and binding arbitration in Singapore under its arbitration rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, with costs shared as agreed or determined by the arbitration award.
